Explore and learn about the plants we grow and have available for purchase!
We will be offering free yummy treats from our wonderful neighbors, Trailside Baking Company, that will include fruit and herbs from our gardens. A fun way to experience the fruiting and medicinal plants you can purchase here at Bumble Roots Herbal. There is a limited amount of treats, so don’t be late :)
We want you to come and learn, taste, ask questions and see what the plants we offer look like when in a mature garden setting. This is a great way to get a full experience of a plant you have been thinking about adding to your gardens! We will have other plant sales throughout the season but we won’t be opening our gardens like we are at this event.
Blooms and Backyard Remedies
Beth, owner of Bumble Roots Herbal, will be talking about the benefits of growing a herbal garden and how to make your own medicine. We will go over how to prepare your harvest for storage, how to make an herbal oil and how to turn your oils into a salve.
We will be working with Calendula. You will go home with your own herbal oil, everything you need to make your own salve and Calendula seeds so that you can start growing and collecting herbs next year.
The rest of the evening will be spent learning how to cut and arrange our peak season blooms from our gardens. You will leave with your own beautiful bouquet of flowers.
